Looking down at the Heljarkambur Ridge and Mornisheithi plateau from Brattafonn. The ridge was very exposed and guarded only by a wobbly chain handrail. Not for the faint hearted!

Clear weather during the ascent reveals crevasses on the Eyjafjallajokull ice cap.
